Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Release Day Review:

Hey Guys! I'm so sorry I haven't posted in a while I've just been busy with pool parties and sleeping. I know terrible excuses but I've honestly got to no new books this week. I recently started watching Gossip Girl and it's so good but so addictive, and I have almost no time to read... :(

But... Since I am technically still reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, I am being initiated into the fandom. And therefore even if I am busy I obviously have to make time for Harry Potter parties! Today I actually saw Jason Bourne in theatres, went to a Cirque de Solei show (Luzia, and it was really good, highly recommend going), and attended the release party. So as you can see I accomplished a lot! Yay. But honestly I just had to go to a Harry Potter and the Cursed Child release party, because there would never again be a Harry Potter book released, even if I didn't read all the books yet (unlike everybody who was there).

So as I already said Harry Potter and the Cursed Child came out today!

And.... I officially need a wand! THEY ARE SO COOL! And so many people had them. They had Harry's, Sirius Black's, and probably one that might have been Hagrid's (it was strangely very thick). Apparently like everybody has been to Harry Potter land at universal studios, and now I desperately want to go. Just to get a wand and try some butterbeer! So... All in all today was a very busy day for me, yet super fun!

So at the party we had a scavenger hunt, many times we had to answer questions for raffle draws, had a wand battle, and took pictures and read the book (not me, but other people did, they had many copies). I might not have mentioned but this was another Library Event that I was invited to, and it was pretty fun! (Escape rooms are better, but maybe that's just cause I haven't read the whole series yet, shameful ik and I'm sorry, again...)

Oh also just an addition but a lot of the activities resulted in raffles tickets (like if you completed or won them). The raffle was for some bundles of books and two gorgeous painting of the golden snitch. That was surprisingly the thing I most wanted to win, because it was gorgeous, and because it was hand drawn and an original. I snuck some pictures from the girl who won it (thank you to her for letting me take them). The other book bundles were of the illustrated Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, the big colouring book, a colouring post card set, Fantastic beasts and where to find them, and 2 other books which I would probably have remembered if I read the whole series (ugh this is really starting to get to me, but I can't seem to finish it...)
(Beautiful right? And Unique. *sigh* oh well...)

Oh and just a note for the wand battle, it was really cool. Especially since a lot of people had super legit looking wands. But the people like me, who have to get one at some point, probably, got wooden sticks, sadly, but it was alright. I actually think the more enjoyed part was when we were talking about all the spells we were going to use, me basically just "wingardian leviosa" or "expelliarmus, because those are the only ones I know. Sad. I know. (And I'm really sorry if I completely butchered the spelling... I did didn't I) But in the end it turned out to be more like a game of rock paper scissors with cool named and moves which was kind of lame, but it turned out alright. Especially since I wasn't as disadvantaged as I originally thought I would be, and since I ended in a tie.

Also shout out to my book club for coming. Almost all of them showed up and I think as a group we were the single thing making noise. And when we finally realised how loud we were, it was kind of akward... Lol ;) Oooo I almost forgot there was also a really fun fan-fic section where me and my friends, and some random new friends/people (lol) wrote some hilarious fanfics on whiteboards. I took some pictures sorry if they aren't very clear. (Also they will be small here, so they don't take up too much room, but you can click on the pic to expand it)
Anyways as you can tell today was a very eventful day for me, as well as productive. I saw my friends, saw an amazing show, and saw my friends again as well as talked about Harry Potter on the day the last book/script came out! It was very fun!

Oh and btw please follow my instagram @goldstormbooks. I posted a Harry Potter picture with some paper swag we got today just to celebrate. Really appreciate it! :)
Thanks so much for reading my review of my amazing day and I hope to hear all about how you celebrated the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

July Teen Book Club Report:

Hey guys, today I'm back with another post about How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff. Yesterday evening was the first book club meeting I have attended with a notebook. Lmao... That's because it's the first meeting that I've been to that I have had a blog. So for you guys I sacrificed... I'm not sure exactly what, but I did... And I did take a lot of notes. The thing about a book club is that we all come for the food and tea and just to discuss books in general so usually it's very disorganised... I.E. COMPLETE CHAOS... Yea that about sums it up. If you read my review of How I Live Now, which I posted yesterday, you should know approximately what this book is about. If you didn't you should go check that out here: And if you didn't and don't want to (dw I understand) I'll give you a brief synopsis straight from Goodreads (Shout out to wherever Goodreads gets their wonderful book synopsiss, thank you, they're very helpful! :) )

161426"Fifteen-year-old Daisy is sent from Manhattan to England to visit her aunt and cousins she’s never met: three boys near her age, and their little sister. Her aunt goes away on business soon after Daisy arrives. The next day bombs go off as London is attacked and occupied by an unnamed enemy. As power fails, and systems fail, the farm becomes more isolated. Despite the war, it’s a kind of Eden, with no adults in charge and no rules, a place where Daisy’s uncanny bond with her cousins grows into something into something rare and extraordinary. But the war is everywhere, and Daisy and her cousins must lead each other into a world that is unknown in the scariest, most elemental way.”

So now that you know a little about what the book is about, or a lot if you read my review, let's start. I just wanted to start off by saying how excited I am for each meeting, just because I get to have tea (like a real lady, ;) ) and because I get to see my friends and talk about books. Usually I am very busy, during the school year, and I sometimes don't have the time to read the book, but in the summer I have lots of free time. I just leave it off to the last second because my own tbr list is sooo long (click here if you want to see my tbr post). Most importantly I was especially excited for this meeting because I knew that I could take notes and then blog about it :), as well as that it's summer and I don't have that much to do, so I've been waiting for it for a while.

Just to show you how excited I was here are my notes!!! (excuse my terrible hurried writing) :
So getting to what we actually did, finally... (Note: As this was a 1 hour meeting and we had a lot of discuss it was very crammed, sorry if it seems to be to be very rushed.. )

The first thing that happened was that two girls gave a very interesting synopsis, with the obvious key points. Edmond reading minds, children having weird abilities like talking to animals, the end with the gardening together (it being very cliche), and Edmond seeing massacre connecting with the "high on shrooms" night... So as you can see it was a very amusing and highly informative review (hm hm not, but hilarious none the less) Then our group leader/librarian person (let's just call her T)  tried very hard as usual to get us back on track by us answering some questions. But that never really works (T tries it every time) because with every question we end up having a 10 min discussion that ends up going back to them being high or them making out (Edmond/Daisy)... so in other words, us being very productive...

First were some pretty easy multiple choice questions that T thought were hard but were actually not. (They never are, but it's more fun that way, lol) We talked about warfare and innocence being a theme, the comparison between England and New York, Piper as portraying innocence, when Piper said, "I think those mushrooms aren't poisonous...", and them obviously being poisonous and having a weird effect on the girls, making them hallucinate. We also mentioned how it hit her really hard when she finally realised how stupid starving herself was, and whether or not she had a mental illness (like anorexia). Also how she realised that having a good family makes you stronger and makes you have the ability to lift cars (like in the movies, to save your family). We were wondering what happened to Baz, aka "the nice soldier dude who gave them cheese", at the end, and to all those soldiers in that hut and Alby and his mom. We also talked about how this book is supposedly supposed to take place in the future like it being world war 3 (a dystopian), but it actually seeming like it took place in the past (it being a historical fiction). But you gotta keep in mind that it was written in 2004, 12 years ago so... That's probably why. We also talked about something I really picked up on too, how Edmond seemed like that "edgy kid", because he picked her up from the airport alone while smoking a cigarette...
We also had some in depth discussions on longer questions (T actually brought like 12 but we got to 3, that's how amazingly productive we are. But we do discuss a lot)  (Also for the question below keep in mind that the answers are not all mine, and that I do not agree with some of them, they are just what we as a group discussed and came up with)

1. Why do you think the author left out punctuation/quotation marks/grammar from this book?
(Note: I guess this reflects very badly on me but I didn't notice that there weren't any quotations, only that there were no comas and this bottthhhhereeed me... ugh)
Well we basically said there were a few reasons. It could have been because she was lazy, wanted to be unique, wanted it to feel like a diary, wanted it to feel like a teen's writing style, wanted it to be less formal, or just because she had no editor (apparently true fact). We also mentioned how there was a lot of "word vomit" at the very beginning as if she just wanted to say everything at once and get it out (Daisy not Meg). On the back it says "A book for all ages", and as somebody pointed out that, IT IS NOT! Because we don't want to give little kids the idea that it's okay to hook up with your cousins... Maybe they're all just stupid?

2. Why would Meg Rosoff bring in the idea of two cousins being in love? Why would she go down that road?
We though... Maybe she wanted it to be a bestseller and the best way was to make it really creepy and weird. Maybe she was writing from experience because she was in love with her cousin. She wanted to put an interesting element into the book so that people would talk more about it. And maybe it didn't really matter that it was her cousin because she was just so into it, and he was the only normal guy, and Daisy had to have a love interest.
We also randomly mentioned, while T was trying to read the question in a British accent (which failed) that butty (pronounced: bo-tt-y) means sandwich in England and that butty bars are sandwich bars. <-- (Fun fact, lol)

3. If you were to pick a soundtrack for this book, which songs would you put on it?
- Bring me to life ~ Evenescence
- Can't keep my hands to myself (suggested as a joke) ~ Selena Gomez
- It's Time ~ Imagine Dragons
- Bleeding Out ~ Imagine Dragons
- Just Tonight ~ The Pretty Reckless

Then after we finally got through our 3 questions we didn't have time for any more because they had to clean the carpets in the little room our book club takes place, so sadly we couldn't stay for 30 minutes extra, as usual (but we just chilled in the library anyways). So as tradition goes everybody recommends a book at the end of each meeting, and the books recommended for this month are:
- The Great Gatsby ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald
- The Diary of a Young Girl ~ Anne Frank
- City of Bones ~ Cassandra Clare (Great series guys!)
- Every Last Word ~ Tamara Ireland Stone
- Uglies ~  Scott Westerfeld
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (obviously me, as I am the only one reading harry potter for the 1st time... sadly) ~ J.K. Rowling
- Eve + Adam ~ Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate
- Heroes of Olympus ~ Rick Riordan
- Zorgamazoo ~ Robert Paul Weston

Oh and I almost forgot. Apparently there's also a movie adaptation of How I Live Now, and it's even worse than the book... It's rated R and it came out in 2013 as a Drama/Romance/Thriller, interesteing combination... lol And it stars Saoirse Ronan, who was in The Host and Brooklyn, so now I want to see the movie even though it's rated 6.5/10 on IMDB. Yes Saoirse (Pronounced: Se-r-sha, I think )
Oh and btw on Goodreads How I Live Now is rated 3.58/5 stars and it's main genres being young adult, dystopian, romance, fiction and war.

(Next month's book club book (August) is Hold Fast written by: Kevin Major.)

Thank you guys so much for reading my super long and ranty report (omg it took an hour to write this) (and yes report sounds too much like school work, but what can you do?) okay fine... /review on our July Teen Book Club meeting. Hope you enjoyed hearing and discussing all about How I Live Now. Make sure to check out my review if you haven't already. I'd also love to hear what you think and if you were left with any questions yourself comment below. :)

How I Live Now Review:

Hi everybody sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was supposed to be away at camp this week but turns out I'm actually not going this year, probably. So I was supposed to read this book a while ago, for book club. But as usual I procrastinated until the last second and I started it and finished it yesterday. Book club is tonight, so as you can tell great time management on my part but whatever. I finished it before the meeting and that's all that counts. I will try to be as honest as possible, and as accurate, for your guys' enjoyment (yes I just said guys', deal with it) Anyways I will try to not include any spoilers, and honestly since this isn't a series there isn't much to spoil. So, getting to the review...

This month, July, we needed to read How I live Now by Meg Rosoff.
Publisher: Wendy Lamb Books

161426"How I Live Now" is a book that mainly takes place in England, about a 15 year old girl named Elizabeth, prefers Daisy. Because he dad recently got remarried after her mom died in childbirth, and is having another child, Daisy gets sent off to England to live with her cousins. Daisy had never met her cousins or her aunt, but absolutely hates her step-mom so is happy to get away. When she arrives at the airport her 14 year old cousin Edmond arrives to pick her up, alone and smoking a cigarette. After that things start to get very interesting. The majority of this book revolves around a war that starts just after Daisy arrives in England.

Okay so truthfully I didn't like this book very much, but some parts of it were okay. At first I though I would hate it, but even though some parts were very depressing I overall finished it and though it was okay. I would give it a 6.8/10 stars and this is why...

The beginning of this book was very slow, but I get why. They had to introduce all the characters and get more acquainted with the setting before things could get interesting but for a 194 page story the beginning being 50 pages, that part did seem a bit long. I actually started it two days ago at 2am but only read 22 pages, and though that I wouldn't pick it up again. But yesterday at around 4pm I decided that I should at least try to finish it for the sake of this blog. And when I got to page 98, I actually wanted to finish it. I'm not saying that I couldn't put it down because it was so good, but it got a lot better as I got past the long intro.

Okay so diving into deeper analysis, the positives... I really liked how Meg described the settings in this book. It made you feel like you were part of it. Well at least the settings in London did. When Daisy and her little 9 year old cousin Piper were trying to walk home in the middle of the war, it felt so real and so sad. They had to camp out in the rain, eat blackberries, bath in the river, and hide from any strange sounds/rain in the bushes and huts. That whole middle section of the book when they were trying to find Edmond and their other cousins was so sad and kind of depressing, yet it was the best written part of the whole book in my opinion. Her descriptions of all the nature, animals, and houses were on point. And I really liked how she described the house and the lambing barn where they had to hide out. Overall, the description of the setting, especially the nature surrounding them was the best part. As well as the ending, which was also done pretty well (especially the choice of words to end the novel).

Something I didn't like however was, the character description. Usually when reading I can picture the book like a movie inside my head and kind of fall into it and watch. That didn't happen with this book, mainly I think because I just couldn't picture the characters. How they would look, or their personality. And it all seemed a bit unrealistic as the main protagonist Daisy was only 15 and had to go through so much. I was especially confused at the end, when she was a lot older and it was in the future, about just how old she actually was. As well I think we really lacked character development on some characters; Aunt Penn, Osbert and Isaac. I also didn't like all the writing style and phrasing at parts as there were some extremely weird, and hard to understand, sentences and similes... For example:
"... I have one of the best Oh Yeah, This Is So Much What I Usually Do kind of faces of anyone in my crowd."
"... I swear to god I will assign all my worldly goods to the Salvation Army and I'd say there's no danger of some religious tuba player ending up with my DVD player..."
"Well I couldn't take much more of all the blah blah blah so Edmond and I walked..."
"... If you had to choose an audience for illicit love based on the people you'd least like to have hanging around..."
"... And listened to the heavy low buzz of fat pollen-drunk bees and imagine melting into the earth..."

These are just some of the sentences that made me blink and re-read them like 5 times. It was just such awkward phrasing and they didn't make sense. That was another thing that I didn't like about this book. As you can see even some of the descriptions were very strange, and maybe that's what got in the way of me actually latching onto this book and not being able to put it down.

The last couple of things that I didn't enjoy were the main character's and her love interest's personalities. Daisy thinks that everything revolves around her, and even goes as far as to want to be skinny to make her father and step-mother feel guilty. Which doesn't work because they don't even notice, while she starves herself... But I think she did learn a lot from her cousins and from how she and a lot of other people almost died during the war; versus her dying by choice. I also didn't like Edmond's character. I just couldn't understand why two cousins would fall in love at the age of 15 and 14, Daisy being 15, and want to do very inappropriate things with each other. But that's a whole other story, the weird and creepy romantic angle  this book took on what should've just been good ol' family love. Two cousins fall in love and make out and this makes them have an extremely deep connection so that they can read each other's thoughts and talk to each other in their dreams... Like what???  I enjoyed the end of the book, however I really wish they weren't related. I also didn't really like Edmond's personality. Yes, at times he was sweet and caring, but he acted way older than he was (like he was 20 or something) and didn't seem to act as a normal 14 year old should...

On the other hand a character I really did enjoy was Piper. She was made to sound like an extremely smart 6 year old in a 9 year olds body. She was so cute and sweet, and that whole section when it was just Daisy and Piper I loved. They learned so much from each other, and I really liked how at the end Piper was all grown up, but just the same as always. And her boyfriend Jonathan seemed sweet. I also loved their dog Jet, and Piper's special connection. It just demonstartes that even if you're young you can still help a lot of people especially if you're extremely smart like Piper (omg I swear cute but secretly a genius).

So overall as with most books "How I Live Now" had positives and negatives. As you can tell I found it had more negatives but to each their own. Some people might enjoy it more than I did, but anybody who wants to should read it. It introduces the hardships of war and makes you truly experience what these kids went through. Not necessarily in the best war but the experience none the less.

If you read this book I'd love to hear how you liked it. And I will be posting a July book club post later this evening (on this book and our discussion), after the meeting takes place. Thank you so much for reading my review, and as always feel free to comment on anything I said or you want to know.

Buying Books in Canada:

Hi guys!

Today I will be writing about how annoying and painful it is to buy books in Canada.

Just kidding, I will be writing about how to hopefully make it less frustrating and time consuming, and mentioning all the options I know, so far. ;)

Anyways as most of you that live in Canada, who love books, know, it is really hard to find exactly what you're looking for for a good price. And the main two options are buy it online or go into a store and have to search for it. With me, I usually order books online because they are usually cheaper so I would recommend it. Plus if you are pre-ordering something sometimes it will come on the day of the release, which is amazing!

SO.... the two main options out there are Indigo/Chapters and Amazon.ca

1. Indigo/Chapters Canada
2. Amazon Canada

Honestly these two sites have very similar prices and for both of them you only get free shipping if you spend over 25$. And as books typically cost around 15-20 this becomes and issue because either you can buy something for 5$ and get free shipping, or you can pay for the shipping. Honestly I recommend buying something but... I recommend Indigo because on Indigo there is a separate page (bargain books) that you can go to and find books for less than 6$, usually either 4.99$ or 5.99$ these books might seem bad, but actually I bought one and love it. And you basically get it for free as the price of the book is how much shipping would be, around, if not less. I have experience with this because when I bought Winter, to get free shipping I bought a book called Magnolia and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend that option. Also it's amazing because when I pre-orderered Winter it arrived the day it came out, and I was sooo excited!!! If you do however decide to use amazon you have a lot more options and that might be better for some of you.

And shout out to how much the Americans get that we Canadians don't! Many giveaways and amazing cool things happen only in the Us, which makes me very sad. :( Many authors don't come to Canada at all and publisher don't usually do giveaways in Canada unless it's a Canadian publisher. Also Barnes and Nobles books sometimes has really cool b and n versions of books, which is cool because, for example they include cover art, a cool map, a short story, or the author signed it. And I see those and I just get really sad because I want to order them but it would be a lot more expensive because shipping and the dollar difference. Which keeps growing btw, ;(...

But it's okay because we have Indigo, which is blessed and if we didn't I would be sooo unhappy. Lmao. I also heard about another place where you can get books for a very good price, from several sources, called Book Outlet and it looks really good, I've never ordered anything from there but I really want to. So if any of you have used it and liked it I'd love to hear all about it! :) (book outlet)

So if you have any other methods, I'd love to hear all about them. Thank you so much for reading!

June Teen Book Club Report:

A little late sorry... lol  Honestly I only started my blog mid July, so I didn't think to take notes or anything and now it's July 18th and it's been three weeks and I am racking my brain trying to remember what we talked about, sorry about that. Oh I remembered some things...

I remember that we all had to read Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Or the Scorer's stone for all you lazy Americans, jk). And that is how I started reading the Harry Potter for the second time. You can see me newest Harry Potter book #3 review here: and in many others I have mentioned how I am finally reading most of it for the first time ever. I started it in grade 4 and ditched it after the first 1.5 books, don't judge. Well I'm doing better this time as you can see I'm already starting the 4th book. Anyways I remember that at this particular meeting there weren't as many people as usual, because school was just ending, there were graduations to go to for some (Grade 8s and 12s) and so our little room was 60% empty :(. But it's okay we still had a pretty good discussion about our recent reads and about Harry Potter. I specifically asked them not to spoil anything because I hadn't read the whole series yet. So they didn't, luv them! <3

Anyways I remember that somebody mentioned that it had two different titles; Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone (Canada and UK) and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (United States). And we got into this whole debate about why. Nobody could really understand why Sorcerer's Stone is easier to understand than Philosopher's stone because it honestly doesn't make any sense to change it. I think we decided to say that Americans just associate Philosophy with some deep understanding of mental illnesses and human emotions, so sorry Americans but as bad as that is that was our only solution... That they changed the name so that it would sell better in the US. I also found this hilarious answer on Yahoo and I agree: "The book was originally called "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" but when the book came over to the US the publishers changed the title because they believed that Americans would not understand the concept of the philosopher's stone. ... I don't know why the publishers felt Americans would understand Sorcerer's Stone more, it really doesn't make sense ..." -Sarrs (yahoo answers member) Honestly same Sarrs, like wat even... they even changed the publisher going from Bloomsbury to Scholastic for the US version (pic below) ... very weird and I don't know if that's the actual reason or not but... ahahah it's hilarious

I don't remember much else other than that we went over the plot of the book and talked about which house we would all be. And everybody was torn. Out of 6 people we had zero Slytherins, 1 Gryffindor, 1 Hufflepuff, 2 Ravenclaw, and 2 undecided. One of the undecided was either a Huffleclaw or Gryffinclaw mix and the other was me. I just said that I felt like I was Gryffindor because I did, but at that moment I had only read the 1st book and felt I shouldn't really judge because I would be really biased as the book is mainly from Gryffindor's point of view. But now that I have read 3 whole HP books I still stick to that. I'm pretty sure I am a Gryffindor, maybe with a bit of Ravenclaw, but Gryffindor all the same! (But not super smart like Hermione, nope, I wish... psh) Also a shoutout to my friend Julia for joining our meeting halfway through (after I persuaded her), very brave, thanks!  :)

29056083We also talked a bit about the new book coming out: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. All I know is that it is written like a play, I think. And the events take place when Harry Potter is an adult, I also think. So actually I really don't know much... I know that it is coming out July 31st, 2016 and that is why we read the first book and discussed, in honour of the new one coming out.  I was trying desperately to get on-board and read all the books before the new one came out, but I had to anyways for book club so that's literally the only reason I think I did, but looking back I am so thankful. I probably won't have read all of them by the release date, but hopefully at least 4 and that's good enough for me. I wanted to read it before the release because there's going to be a really fun HPCC themed event and I won't be able to  participate fully since I don't know everything about HP like normal people do... But at least I'll know what's going on because I was gonna go anyways, and by then I've probably read 4 books maybe more.  (I still have all those other tbr july/august books I have to read, so I better finish HP fast... aha)

I also wanted to mention that at the end of each book club meeting we each recommend a book we read recently and then it gets posted on their website. (websites make life so much easier, I would've forgotten by now, which I did) I also wanted to mention that we meet once a month on the last Monday of every month. I'm also writing this because I'm probably going to be at a sleepover camp next week and that's the book club week and I'm really really upset because I just realised but what can you do? Anyways here are our recommendations for June:
Me - A Court of Mist and Fury by: Sarah J. Maas (Obviously :), review here:)
Ju**a - Mind Games by: Kiersten White
Je**r - The Bamboo Sword by: Margi Preus
Sr**i - The Book Thief by: Markus Zusak
An**y - The Nest by: Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney
El**th - Poison Study by: Maria Snyder

I'm still kind of confused though is the new one written like a book or like a play? Are you excited for the new one? I'd love to hear anything, anything, I don't bite! Until next time...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Review:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third book in the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling. And as you all probably know by now, I am reading this series for the first time, ever! I know, you're all probably very disappointed in me but I'm finally doing it. I just wanted to say like I have said before I really wish I didn't stop reading this series the first time I started in like grade 4, and that I would most recommend this series to kids in elementary/middle school, probably grade 4-7. I know a lot of people say that anybody can read this series and it'll always be super good but honestly I disagree reading it now, maybe it's because I'm only on book 4 right now. I like the characters and the world development but overall the plot is starting to get repetitive for me. Now getting into my actual review...

I actually did enjoy this book more than the second book in the series mainly I think because of all the mystery and then the resolution concerning Sirius Black, I love him lmao. Honestly he's now officially my favourite character in this series. I also loved learning more about the centre for death, Azkaban, the most evil prison ever and the dementors that even Harry, who's almost never scared of anything, not always a good thing aha, is scared of...

Okay so then let's start off with the new and old characters... Well there's Harry, Ron, and Hermione who I'm obviously a big fan of. But there are also two new characters introduced who I really enjoyed Professor Lupin, and Sirius Black. I know most of all already read this book and all the others and know all about what's going to happen and everything... But me I'm just really really hoping that Sirius Black gets freed that Harry can go and live with him, because just like everybody I think the Dursley's are completely horrible. The Dursley's are Harry's human family who absolutely hate him and treat him like trash most of the time. I also want to mention how much Hermione actually grew in just 3 books from being a complete goody goody and teacher's pet to like the mastermind behind all of the trio's plots, I absolutely loved it. She's so smart and talented and I love how both her parent's aren't wizards and people keep bringing it up, but she's smarter and better than like all of the students in her year. She's also soo loyal and brave it breaks my heart. And when in the 2nd book she gets petrified by the evil monster (notice no spoiler there, hehe), I was so upset just because she was left out of part of the book. Also I want mention how much more I hate Malfoy now that we see his father too, ugh this guy just keeps sticking his head in other people's business, why didn't he get petrified. I also absolutely love the part when Hermione slaps him, ahaha I was so happy. And out of the teachers I obviously very dislike Snape, and my favourite teachers are Proffesor McGonagall and Proffesor Dumbeldore.

5Moving on to the plot, setting, and story. Honestly this is the one part I get iffy on. When I'm reading the book I like the characters and I like the plot and all the mysterys but to me as a reader if something new doesn't get introduced I start to loose interest. And I know a lot of people will disagree but I found the Hogwarts setting kind of boring, at first it was like oo a huge castle and now that they've explored like everything in it and were basically trapped in it the whole 3rd book it's start to wear on me. Also they constantly have something to look forward too and have to constantly fight monsters and solve mysteries, while breaking tons of rules, that for some reason the teachers can't solve. To me this seems a bit unrealistic because really the teachers have so much ore experience, they actually care, and they make rules for a reason. Harry constantly getting in trouble because he breaks the rules and puts himself in a life-threatening situation is also somewhat annoying. Like at first it was cool and now it's just really repetitive.

So as you can tell for me personally there was a lot of good and some not so much in this book, and the series overall. For a 2nd time I have been debating dropping it because when I'm not reading it I don't really want to but when I am I don't want to stop. This has never happened to me before and it's a very weird feeling. But I know that this time I have to finish it because no matter what I'm always going to be left out of things and the amazing Harry Potter Universe if I don't. As well a couple people told me that it gets better, and that the 4th and 5th books are the best and that there is some romance involved, hopefully finally (I have no clue, because they didn't spoil), so I will keep reading and try to catch on to what everybody else is feeling, and if I don't oh well... At least I know what they'll be talking about. So my final words are...

As I said I personally really liked the characters (not just the humans) and this whole world that J.K. Rowling has created, the original wizarding world... With all the settings that people talk about and Azkaban, the giant evil prison, as well as just how easily I believe that this world could actually exist within our normal muggle world. The things I mentioned that don't appeal as much to me are the plot, to me it just sometimes seems like it is repeating itself, but I know that most people have read it and feel differently. So I feel comfortably sharing my honest opinions, my overall is still not completely determined, but I know that I would give it probably 8.2/10 stars and I would mainly recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy in grades 4-7.

Thanks for reading my review,
As always,

A Court of Mist and Fury Review:

I am just going to put this out there. THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!!!! And that is exactly how I felt when I finished it and how I still feel now. I honestly loved a Court of Thorns and Roses but when I read this holy shit this book was blessed. It has so much action combined with so much romance, and it was just the perfect mix of everything. As this book came out May 3rd, 2016 and it is now July 15th, 2016, I gave you all two months to read it. I will try not to put any major spoilers in this section but there will be spoilers below. I will make sure to warn you all who haven't read the book yet to stop reading my review and go read the book, which you should do either way. And I will also put a giant picture of the book so that you will make sure to know that there will be spoilers below.

The things I love the most about this books were the characters and how they interacted with one another. The most obvious relationship being Rhysand and Feyre, obviously I love all that. But I also want to mention that Mor was an amazingly lovable charater, she's been through so many hardships and she's still the most energetic, the most lovely, and the happiest character I know, by far! I also absolutly loved Rhys inner circle Amren, Cassian, and Azriel. They were are such great in depth characters that had such an interconnected history with Rhysand that nothing seemed a surprise. Except for at first. I mean that Sarah planned these characters out so well that there were no flaws, no times when I was like wait what why? I always completely believed in the characters and why they were doing the things they were because Sarah planned them out like that.

I also really liked the setting of this book, the mystery in it, and how well everything flowed together. The setting was always so vivid I could imagine it happening right in front of me. The scenes in Rhy's court of nightmares as well as Velaris were just unbelievable detailed and described in such a way that you could feel the wind, see the life around you or feel the darkness and fear. To me the settings play a very important role in books, which is why I like them even more than movies because it creates an imagine in your mind and you can see it there, right in front of you. Vs in movies somebody else's imagination already created the scene for you. Which is why I also refuse to watch the movie before reading a book. All the mysterious parts when somebody was about to say something, or something was implied but we couldn't understand what it was were so good. And most of them, thank you Sarah, were answered. I also mentioned this already but I love how well the characters flowed together, but I also loved how they flowed with their surroundings and how everything made sense. Nothing was just dropped into the plot because we needed it.

And overall as me from a month ago said.... "This book was totally mind blowing. I honestly cannot get over how detailed the plot of this book was, I swear I felt like I was reading a mystery of something. Sarah J Maas weaves the story together so well and this book was so well written and different than the first one but in a good way. So you should definitely go pick it up right now. I rate it 9.8/10 and it's honestly the best book I have ever read. And you will see, your whole world will be flipped upside down, literally *wink wink*." So obviously I recommend this book to anyone mature enough to read it and handle it's amazingness. It's a wonderfully fantastic book!

Stick around if you want to discuss the deeds, and you already read the book. If not then please go and read it and come back. Because I'm warning you now there will be spoilers below! Note: This is the second book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses Trilogy and I am also rereading parts of it right now. Sorry Harry and ur Sirius Black adventure...
Thanks for reading my review, and thanks to Sarah J. Maas and Bloomsbury for making this amazing book!!!! I also just want to point out how pretty this cover is O.O beautiful!

A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #2)

(Warning: This Review is very long and will contain many spoilers and also involve some very excited reviewing/many grammar mistakes after I just finished it and posted this review on Goodreads. The crazy fangirling starts now...)

"OMG RHYSAND, my first reaction after I was done this book was holy shit I was completely wrong about him. I'm so sorry I didn't believe in you honey... Honestly I would not have seen it coming at all had I not watched Christine's booktalk and she said that at the end of acotar Rhysand definitely mated with her. And I was just like what I completely didn't see that... All of ACOMAF i was like no no no wait I really want that to be explained. And then he comes and it's just like with Velaris he becomes this amazing sweet hilarious other person and I was in love. Jeez Sarah J Maas played me good. I though I was going Feylin all the way but turns out I'm not. That whole time when they were flirting and he was teasing her, and their little notes (so cute I was dying) I was thinking so are they not mates then, nothing weird is happening, Rhysand is acting like any normal guy who likes a girl would. And then that whole part when she felt guilty for having feelings for Rhysand so soon after Tamlin. Omg I was like shut up just do it, and then how she said all I want is fun, to Rhysand, but obviously she was like in love with him and he didn't see the truth. All those scenes with the mind reading when she felt sad or depressed and let her barriers down, I was just thinking back to Katsa and Po (Graceling) and being like oh ya been there done that. Then when the King shot him out of the sky when he was just about to tell her I was like isn't he the most powerful high lord ever he just kind of fell out of the sky. I was so scared for him, until Feyre just turned all badass and captured a Suriel again, which is always described as being so hard and dangerous, but she always manages to do it... She captures it and it just decides to throw in some extra information, which since it is all knowing it knows that she doesn't know, and she goes bat-shit crazy. At that moment I think I lost almost all my respect for her, she finds out she was his mate so that means you can yell at him when he's half dead, and then ditch him when he opens his eyes and calls your name. It broke my heart... Then when she painted that whole cottage *tears were coming* and then Mor was waiting at the door. But no it was obviously Rhysand, he found the cottage and he was good as new and she had to serve him food. And I just honestly melted. Sarah J Maas planned so many histories and stories in between the main plot that it was like revealing a trace of amazingness, and we found out a lot more about Rhysand's and Tamlin's history. Sarah really twisted this story into something beyond words. The most angry I got was when I was reading all the parts with Tamlin, how he treated her like a dog at the beggining, how he locked her up, how Lucien tried to take her back, and then the end. Oh dear god I really just couldn't take Tamlin's bs anymore. I was so ready to like hurt him or something, like can't you see she hates ur guts man. And then the ending I also didn't like except for the part when the bond wasn't actually broken and she got another tatoo, and she was high lady. Also if I don't mention this now, I might forget but Amren was absolutly hilarious with the whole scary but sweet thing, and how she helped Feyre by using a "magical necklace" that Rhysand gave her. (I actually laughed when Amren was all like oh actually it doesn't do anything) And at the end when she said "she's your mate not your spy. GO GET HER" I was silently applauding her so bad while at the same time being really scared of her silver eyes. How creepy is that by the way? And Moore being the only family Rhysand has left was good foreshadowing of how Rhysand actually is, especially with his friends. And also at the beggining when she said "well that went well" after Feyre yelled at Rhysand. Rhysand saw right through Tamlin and tried to help Feyre but because of Amarantha his methods were a bit off, but through this book he proves to me just how great of a character he is and how I really should've completely disregarded him in the first book. As soon as I was done all I wanted to do was reread all the parts with Rhysand in Acotar, but I didn't. This review is so long and if you read all of it thanks for sticking with me while I got all my feels out. Please comment and tell me what you though of this book. And if you're literally dying, a little each day, for the next book, like I am, then tell me that too. I should probably go make a blog, but I'm just looking at the 14881 characters left and thinking oh Goodreads can put up with one more sentence." (I especially love my 2 months ago self saying I should create a blog, ahaha, honestly she would be so proud of me rn)

Arcs, Arcs, Arcs:

As probably most of you, who are reading my blog, know and Arc is an advanced reader's copy. Usually for bloggers who are just getting started, and the most Arcs are available in egalley form on Netgalley and Edelweiss. But those of you who have been doing it for longer know you can request them from publisher, or be put on the mailing list. But there are also other ways to get arcs. I personally get mine from my library. I am in a teen book club and sometimes at meeting or events they have surprises like hard copy Arcs! Most of the time they give out older Arcs but one time at an event I got an Arc that still hasn't been released, and it is on my tbr list currently. Also a few times I saw Lauren Oliver books and I was a little too slow, and one of my friends grabbed it first. :( But it's okay I'm happy with my arcs. Note: As I haven't actually read these books yet, though I hope I will very soon, I don't have much to say. I will post reviews after I have read them, and probably after I finish rereading Acomaf. Aha sorry guys...

And a shout out to my library and the publishers who sent me books. Thank you so so much! :)

Books I want to buy:

There are so many good books ans series out there that it's very hard for me to choose what books I actually want to buy. Usually I only buy books if they are the last book in a series I loved, like when I bough Winter. But other times I just buy the next book to come out, if I'm obsessed and I want to own it. Sometimes this happens when I regret not buying a book I just finished, like The One, so I bought The Heir, but I probably should've waited for The Crown, because I enjoyed it more. I am kind of promising to myself not to buy any books but the last ones in a series, except for the exception of stand alone novels like heartless, and Sarah J. Maas books just because I love her sooo much! Also I usuallly pre-order books on Indigo, as I live in Canada and as much as I want to get the really cool copies from Barnes and Noble, usually it's just such a price difference that there's no point. So moving on to the books that are currently on my to buy list for this year and next:

This is a list of books I want to buy 2016 - 2017 in the order of how much I want them vs. when they are coming out, enjoy...

#1. Empire Of Storms  (#5 in the Throne of Glass Series)
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA
Release Date: September 6th, 2016
I absolutely adored the Throne of Glass Series, and am so so excited for EOS to come out! It has been like my dreams for the whole year since I finished Queen of Shadows in December. I literally read my now favourite series, ACOTAR, to get over this series because it was so damn good! (It didn't work) But it tells you just how obsessed I was with the series. I also really want the Barnes and Noble exclusive edition, but since I live in Canada it ends up costing a lot more, sadly ;( ....

                               (Barnes &Noble Version)                         (Normal Version)
Empire of Storms (B&N Exclusive Edition) (Throne of Glass Series #5)
       vs.            28260587

#2. Untitled (#3 in the A Court of Thorns and Roses triligy)
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Publisher: Bloomsbury USA
Release Date: May 4th, 2017 (tentative)
This book doesn't have a title much less a cover yet but I am extremely excited for it to come out. I will wait patiently like like I waited for ACOMAF but this time I am definetly buying it. I was in love with ACOMAF for at least a month after I read it, and because I had so much to say about it it insipired my first true book review on Goodreads. One thing I want to ask is.... Is ACOTAR a series or Trilogy? Cause didn't Sarah say it was going to be a Trilogy but then on Goodreads it now says this...
I am honestly so confused... Does anybody know what's up with that?

#3. King's Cage (#3 in the Red Queen Trilogy)
Author: Victoria Aveyard
Publisher: Harperteen
Release Date: February 7th, 2017
30226723I am extremely excited for the last book in this amazing trilogy to come out. I honestly loved Red Queen to death, especially because of the major plot twist at the end but also because I really liked the plot line, and I also really like books with prince's in them. As you can probably tell by now, lmao.  Also I never really fell into the Maven ship in the first book and it was sooo much more fun for me to read Glass Sword (book 2) when I knew that that was over. I to some people Cal seems to be evil and to have too much hatred inside, but he's normal, nobody's perfect, and there was a lot of character development with his character in Glass Sword. I have always loved Cal from book one and knew that something about Maven was fishy, and stinky too. I obviously didn't see the completly story and was shocked by the ending of Red Queen, as all of you were too, don't try to say u saw it coming. Cause trust me guys nobody saw it coming, but with all of that said I am extremly excited to read King's Cage. If you haven't already read the Red Queen Trilogy go and get it rn! It's sooo good!

#4. Heartless (Stand Alone)
Author: Marissa Meyer
Publisher: Feiwel and Friends
Release Date: November 8th, 2016
18584855I really really enjoy Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles and so I'm really looking forward to this book coming out this year. Last year on November 10th Marissa released the last book, Winter, that I pre-ordered and absolutely loved. That was probably the best thing I've ever bought, and I was extremly happy with it. At first when Marissa said she would be releasing a novel based on Alice in Wonderland's Queen of Hearts, I wasn't that thrilled especially that it was a stand alone. Mainly I was just unhappy because it wouldn't be about Cinder and Kai and all my wonderful friends :( tear tear. But then a little after the new year, I started reading more about it, and realised that this book was going to be fantastic! It's about before the Queen became who she is now, and is basically about a young girl and her life and obviously her love life, and knowing this I started to get super excited. Heartless honestly seems like an amazing book, and I watched both Alice in Wonderland and Alice through the Looking Glass recently just to get prepared for it. :) I also found out a few months ago that Heartless had an Arc and I was overjoyed. I have loved all of Marissa Meyers books so far and Heartless sounds so good that I actually went out of my way to email the publisher about this book because I wanted it so damn much. I want to read it and share my probably wonderful review with all of you. The only reason this is #4 on my list is because Sarah J. Maas comes first because they are the next books in her amazing series. AND this is my to buy list and I'm still hoping to get an Arc of Heartless which means I won't have to pre-order Heartless and can just buy it when I have the money and when the craziness settles down. Overall, I am sure this book is going to be fantastic and and so excited to read it and am praying I can get an Arc and share it with all my wonderful readers!

So far those are my most highly anticipated reads of 2016 -2017. So anticipated that I am almost 100% sure I am going to buy all of them because I'm that excited!!! I'm honestly probably forgetting about something that comes out next year, but I will probably have to post another one of these anyways because ACOTAR #3 will have a name and a title and I will have to blog about it!

Thank you so much for reading! And I'd love to know which books you're highly anticipating for this year and next.

Books I actually own! Because I couldn't not buy them...

First let me start off by saying again how great libraries are! Aha well now that you all probably know that I read most of my books after borrowing them from libraries, let's move on the the actual books. (Note: Libraries are great also because they receive a lot of hard copy Arcs and sometimes pass them down to little people like me, which makes us little people very happy. :) )

SO keeping that in mind....

I have only bought a few books, because I couldn't not buy them. Also I usually only buy books when they are the last in the series, so I am planning to buy a lot of books. I will mention those along with the Arcs I have in a later post. Enjoy!

Books I Bought/Pre-Ordered:
(Because I was really obsessed with the series, and had waited forever for them to come out)

#1. Winter (The Lunar Chronicles book #4)
By: Marissa Meyer
13206900This book was honestly sooo good. It was 824 pages and I know that that seems like a lot but it really wasn't. I honestly wished there was more after I was done reading it. I loved that there were so many different stores weaved into one. Especially how the first book was one story and each book another story was added to the original plot. I think this was a very creative method on Marissa Meyer's part and it made me like the books so much more. Also it didn't help that the ships were just so adorable. My otp in this series, although many people disagree, was Cinder and Kai! I loved Kai from book 1, and stayed put. When Stars Above was announced and Marissa Meyer said that there would be a short story about a wedding that takes place after Winter, I died inside. I was praying so hard that it would be Cinder and Kai, but it's okay it all turned out great! Can we all just say how great it was that Marissa Meyer released Stars Above! Thanks Marissa! :) It fulfilled all my expectations and concluded the series for me. You all should definitely read the Lunar Chronicles this is one of the best series I've ever read, and Marissa Meyer is an amazing author!

(And look at this beautiful cover, I just had to get it for myself)

#2. The Heir (The Selection #4)
By: Kiera Cass
22918050I bought this book because I was in love with The One. I'm not sure why, oh wait I know, MAXON! As of right now I have reread The One 6 times, all because of all those super cute scenes with Maxon and America. The One was the final book in America and Maxon's selection series. I can't not spoil anything from now on because if you haven't heard what The Heir and The Crown are mainly about I'm sorry but you shouldn't be reading my blog. JK I love all readers equally! Thank you so much! But enough stalling... This book is about Maxon and America's daughter Eadlyn. Honestly I didn't really like this book mainly because I didn't really like Eadlyn so I kind of regretted buying it... But it's okay because one of my best friends owns The One and I can borrow it and not give it back for months sometimes ;) . So it's all good... I mainly didn't like Eadlyn because she seemed to me like a spoiled brat, who though being future Queen entitled her to everything. She literally treats the boys like dirt throughout most of the book, even though all they are is nice to her. But everyone who has read the next and last book in this series, The Crown, knows that she gets a lot better. See this is why I usually buy the last book. But sadly with this series I just couldn't wait and didn't know anything about the last book and this book was Here and the Crown was in the distant future, "Untitled (The Selection #5). It's okay though because The Heir had a lot of good scenes too, like all the Maxon and America scenes, and I really liked Ahren too. Also getting to know the boys was very crucial to understanding how Eadlyn really grows as a character throughout these two books. Anyways I really recommend The One if you can't already tell, and I wish I pre-ordered that book instead but as I said it's all good. So... If you haven't already read the selection you read should.

(And it helps that this cover is also gorgeous)

Both of these books, Winter and The Heir, I pre-ordered because I loved both series so much and couldn't wait. As you can see I am very enthusiastic about them. There was also a pre-order campaign for Winter that I entered and received some super nice lunar chronicles tattoos (my gloves didn't come but it's okay). The stories of the other books I have aren't as exciting so I don't have as much to say. But these books are also all great reads!

Another Note: I don't like watching the movies before I read the books. Only if I watched the movie first, had no clue that there was a book, liked it so much I wanted to see if there was a book, and then found a book or a sequel to. This has happened to me with watching Something Borrowed (which resulted in me reading Something Blue and then something borrowed again), The Fifth Wave (which resulted in my reading the whole series, I recently read The Last Star, I highly recommend this series, very good), and currently with Love Rosie (Or Where Rainbows End, which is on my tbr list currently).

#3. The Book Theif
By: Markus Zusak
19063I've heard many good and bad reviews of this book. So I have wanted to read this book for a very long time which is why I continually declined watching the movie. I chose to do it for my English essay assignment because I though it would be a good informational and historical read that would work well with and essay. So I bought it... that's fine I don't regret it I just never finished it because, as you know if you read my recent tbr post, I'm not good at reading books I actually want to read for school. So I own this book and I've been wanting to finish it for a while.

#4. Magnolia
By: Kristi Cook
16059149I actually ordered this book to add 5$ to my Winter pre-order to get free shipping on Indigo. But I really enjoyed it. This book is like the reverse version of Romeo and Juliet. The main characters name's are Jemma and Ryder and they "hate" each other although their families are the best of friends. As soon as they were born they were expected to unite the families once and for all but Jemma and Ryder have no interest in starting a relationship. But one night they accidentally end up locked in a house together when there is a crazy storm outside and lots of things get revealed. This was actually a really sweet and relaxing read! I recommend it!

#5. Let it snow
By: Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle
3213286I'm actually not sure why I bought this book, it was one of my first books ever. Actually now that I think about it, it might not even be mine.... lmao Probably is though. But I remember that I liked it a lot and I bought this around the time when everybody was obsessed with the Fault in our Stars and all of John Green's books. So obviously I decided to join that bandwagon and I read all his books, sadly somebody spoiled The Fault in Our Stars for me so I didn't cry, much to all my friend's disbelief. But this book is a mashup of three stories starting with one, then adding another, and in the last adding another and inputting the other 2 stories. It was a cute holiday read and I enjoyed how the last story brought it all together and made it all fit together like a puzzle. :)

I also own a few Arcs and am planning to buy a lot of books in the near future, but I will do a separate post on those.

Thanks for reading! And what books do YOU own and why? I'd love to hear your answers in the comments below.

Tbr list for July & August 2016:

Here is my to be read list for July. I might take a while reading all these books so I think I might have to extend this list to August too.  Another big commitment I'm making this summer is to read the entire Harry Potter Series for the first time. Yes I know I have't read it yet, shame, but I am reading it now so sorry but don't complain. ;)  Honestly I started the series in I think grade 4 or something and I read the first book and half of the second and then I got either bored or scared and sadly stopped. I really wish I didn't though because reading it now firstly, IT'S SOOOO GOOD! And Secondly I probably would've liked it more and been able to relate with it more when I was younger. As it is a more middle school aimed book. Anyways getting to my tbr list....

#1-4 is obviously as I mentioned the Harry Potter Series. So far I have read the first two and am reading the third currently. (Average Goodreads rating: 4.47/5)
Written by: J. K. Rowling
Published by: Scholastic Press in the United States and by Bloomsbury in the United Kingdom

#5 Anna and the French Kiss
Written by: Stephanie Perkins
Published by: Dutton Juvenile
(I have wanted to read this book/trilogy for a while now and I have only heard good things about it) (Goodreads rating: 4.11/5)
6936382

#6 Girls Like Me
Written by: Lola St.Vil

(I received a paperback Arc of this book and after reading the synopsis I was very interested. I love books that are about normal life in high school, and then bam and they're Cinderella. Aha not quite. But after reading the synopsis, this book somewhat reminded me of a mix between A Cinderella Story, which I loved, the one with Hilary Duff? Yup that's the one, and like a diary or one of those advice column books. Also a lot of it is written in texts which is a form of writing I just love! Btw: This Book comes out October 4th 2016)

#7 The Book Thief
Written by: Markus Zusak
Pulished by: Knopf Books for Young Readers
(I had to write an essay on this book for school but I never finished it as I am pretty bad at reading books I actually want to read for school. I'm actually pretty good at reading books I have to read. Aha the irony... I had to watch the movie to know how it ends but I am planning to finish this book asap as I actually bought it and because it was pretty good.) (Goodreads rating: 4.35/5)

#10 and last but not least Love Rosie
Written by: Cecelia Ahern
Published by: Hachette Books
(This book was actually adapted into a movie in 2014 and that is how I found out about it. It is an emotional and heartbreakingly sweet romance and stars Sam Claflin (Finnick Odair) , who I absolutely love in everything; which is why it originally caught my eye. I have wanted to read this book ever since I saw the amazing movie, I highly recommend but it does include one R rated scene... Fun fact: The original title of this book was Where Rainbows End)   (Goodreads rating: 3.95/5)

*(Fun Fact #2: Sam Claflin recently (2016) stared in another book to movie adaptation which was pretty good as well; Me Before You. I recommend you see both as they are both emotional and very well played on Sam's part. ;) )

That about sums up my long tbr book list :)
Thank you all for bearing with me, enjoy, comment and ....

What are YOU planning to read over the summer?

(Answer in the comments below, I'd love to hear all about it)

Introducing Me:

So as I am new to blogger and don't know exactly how to make it look the way I want to, ahaha yup sorry, I am going to leave it this way for now. So you'll have to excuse the current appearance... anyways as I said in my first post I have wanted to create a blog for a while so I am familiar with the way things work. I know you all are very interested in my random talking until I post an actual review (yup *yawn*) but I want to make it clear that I will write reviews to the best of my abilities and in my completely honest opinion. Feel free to check out my review policy page if you want to send me any books to review. And for now I will review books I have already read and either own or borrowed from the library.

As I am not super rich (obviously) I will be doing a lot of reviews on books I didn't actually buy but borrowed from the library. Which is a great way to save up for books I really want to buy (cough cough Empire of Storms). I actually really recommend the library because I personally am very well acquainted with it. I am constantly ordering books online from their website and then picking them up. (How I read most books) I have such a giant order list that I actually have to suspend some of them because I won't read them all in time to give them back. (Sheepishly grins)

But some of the books I really really wanted to read for a long time (max a year, but it feels like so much longer, :) ) I order off Canadian book stores sites like Indigo or Amazon.ca. I usually wait for the perfect moment to order, when there is a sale or when a good 5$ book is available. Which might confuse you now but I will post about later. ;)

As well I love my library this much, because I am in the teen book club and here is where I get so much of my book experience and book loving rants out. This book club meets every months to discuss a book we have to read it differs from Dracula, to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone to Cloning Miranda. As well they sometimes have amazing events like escape rooms, book movie adaptation viewings, and we are sometimes surprised with free books and ARCs. Yay!!! :)

As well I will shortly be posting posts on books I have bought and read (maybe reviews if I remember what the books are about and the posts are long enough, lol) vs books I have and haven't read that are on my TBR list. As well as some books that I have (from the library) that are also on my TBR list.

Thanks for checking me out, as always don't be scared to comment I love to discuss! ;)

First Post!

Hi everyone, I am officially making a book blog. I have wanted to for quite a while and I guess I never had the time. But now that it's summer and school's out I am finally freee. I am going to be doing reviews of books I have read and will also be doing future book lists and posts about almost anything to do with books. I am also in a teen book club and I will be reviewing at least one book a month from that and I can summarize the wonderful discussions we have. If you have any suggestions or comments feel free to post them below. Thank you for your support! :)
